UNIVERSALLY SEEDED
ABOUT US
My name’s Tommy, a third-generation farmer from Sebastopol, California. While my family has been growing Gravenstein apples for over a century, I carved out a different path. After serving in the Marines, I dove headfirst into the cannabis world, kicking off my journey in Santa Cruz in 2009, cultivating legendary strains like Afghani and SFV OG for medical dispensaries. From 2010 to 2014, I crafted some of my first seeds, including Afghani Landrace and Berry White Afghani.
By 2015, I decided to take things to the next level as a commercial farmer, cultivating an acre of cannabis until 2017. I noticed the industry’s obsession with the same old strains, so I knew it was time to shake things up. In 2016, I introduced Sour Orange Puckers (Sour Diesel X Ultraviolence X Xenu) and Ultra Animal Cookies (Animal Cookies X Ultraviolence X Xenu), using pollen from Xenu, a legendary seed from Cult Classic Seeds.
After years of collaboration with Cult Classic Seeds, we teamed up in the Tahoe mountains in 2017 to create a series of iconic strains, including the Freshies Crosses: Powder Cakes (Wedding Cake X Freshies), Eiffel Tower (Paris OG X Freshies), Bunny Slope (Strawberry Banana X Freshies), and more. These strains set the stage for what would come next.
In 2018, we dropped game-changing strains like Unicorn Sherbert (Sherbert X Kurple Fantasy) and Wedding Fantasy (Wedding Cake X Kurple Fantasy), alongside the entire Powder Cakes line. Even today, these strains continue to define our genetics.
From 2018 to 2021, I focused on reversing Cement Shoes, perfecting over 50 strains with an emphasis on stability and yield. In 2021, I separated Universally Seeded from Cult Classic Seeds, continuing to push boundaries by reversing Pink Runtz and Legend OG and building the Powder Cake crosses into these lines.
Then came 2022. I revealed our legendary Afghani Crosses line, a project decades in the making. This strain, with roots tracing back to the Grateful Dead crew in Mendocino, combines Hindu Kush, Trainwreck, and Landrace Afghani, cultivated at 4,500 feet and producing massive yields of 10+ pounds per plant. Alongside this, I introduced the Redvinez feminized line—Fire OG meets Cherry Garcia by Ethos, crossed with Animal Cookies BX4—selling out in just one month.
In 2023, the Redwood Project feminized line was born, blending Redvinez with Cement Shoes, delivering a powerhouse strain for growers at every level.
I am Universally Seeded, and this is my journey—welcome to the future of cannabis.
